Tyson Fury Fires Back At Anthony Joshua After Recent Dig
Tyson Fury has responded to Anthony Joshua after his recent dig.
In a recent interview, Joshua said Fury could be a bigger superstar if he was managed better. Joshua believes if Fury was under Matchroom boxing he would be a massive star in not just boxing but the mainstream audience as well. However, for Fury, he doesn’t care about being famous or a superstar.
“Anthony Joshua, has it ever dawned on you I’m not interested in being a superstar, or famous, I’m a fighting man & only interested in smashing your face in, u keep the stardom, I’ll stay real, #youbigdosser. I’m coming for u superstar, tick tock tick tock,” Fury wrote.
The rivalry between Fury and Joshua is only intensifying by the day and many hope the fight happens in 2021. It is a fight both men seem to want as Joshua even said he would take a pay cut in order to make the bout happen in the UK.
Tyson Fury has not fought since the win over Wilder. He was expected to return on December 5 but it did not come to fruition. In his career, he holds wins over Derek Chisora, twice, and Wladimir Klitschko.
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, is set to return to the ring on December 12 against Kubrat Pulev where he is looking to defend his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight title. He has not fought since he beat Andy Ruiz Jr. last December in their rematch after Ruiz Jr. pulled off a massive upset and knocked out Joshua.
For now, until they share the ring against one another, they will keep taking shots at one another. However, it will only add to the build-up to the fight and add hype to the fight when they eventually fight.
Who do you think would win in a fight, Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua?
