Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk share insane 10-minute face-off
Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are set to do battle tomorrow night in Saudi Arabia – and in their big face-off, things got pretty intense.
We all know Tyson Fury‘s mentality has shifted heading into the rematch. In comparison to the first fight, he seems to be a lot more focused and, for the most part, it seemed as if he was much calmer. That was, of course, until things all sort of unraveled before our very eyes at the face-off earlier this week.
For the better part of 10 minutes, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk stared one another down in one of the longest face-offs we’ve ever seen. It was quite the sight to behold with neither man backing down, until finally, ‘The Gypsy King’ actually had to be dragged away as he appeared to lose his cool a bit.
The curious case of Tyson Fury
Following on from their initial staredown, Tyson Fury just seemed to get really frustrated with Oleksandr Usyk. Whether it be the defeat he suffered in the first fight or his opponent’s calm demeanor, he just didn’t steady himself as we’ve seen him do so many times previously.
In a lot of ways, this brings back up a lot of questions regarding where Tyson Fury is at in his own head with this rematch looming. Yes, he seems to have been training incredibly hard, but how hard is enough for someone like Oleksandr Usyk?
This man is an absolute machine and it really doesn’t feel like there’s a whole lot that can stop him. Anthony Joshua discovered that, Daniel Dubois somewhat discovered that, and the majority of men that have faced Usyk have discovered that in one way or another. If Fury wants to get his revenge, he needs to fight the perfect fight on Saturday.
