Tyson Fury Praises Logan Paul & Jake Paul: ‘I’ve Been Pretty Impressed’

Tyson Fury is full of praise for YouTube stars turned professional boxers Logan Paul and Jake Paul who have really “impressed” the WBC heavyweight champion.

Logan Paul recently went eight rounds with Floyd Mayweather and reportedly made an eye-watering $20 million despite being a novice boxer. His only previous professional boxing experience came against fellow internet celebrity KSI in 2019 – Paul fell to a decision defeat.

Jake Paul is three fights into his perfect professional career. The 24-year-old holds highlight-reel KO wins over former NBA player, Nate Robinson and two-time MMA champion, Ben Askren. Paul is set for his fourth professional fight on August 28, he’ll take on former UFC champion, Tyron Woodley, live on Showtime pay-per-view.

‘The Gypsy King’ is hoping to see his brother, Tommy Fury, square off against ‘The Problem Child’ if he is victorious against Woodley next month.

“Hopefully it happens,” Fury told TMZ Sports. “Jake and Tommy have had a lot of back-and-forth, so I am sure it is going to happen soon. I think Tommy knocks him out cold. I think he [Jake Paul] is a decent fighter, but I know Tommy is a dynamite puncher.

Despite predicting Jake would suffer a bad loss against his brother, Fury spoke positively overall about The Paul Brothers’ entering the boxing scene.

“I’ve been pretty impressed with the Pauls though – a really good breath of fresh air to the boxing scene,” Fury said.

Fury is currently preparing to defend his heavyweight title against Deontay Wilder on July 24. The Englishman will square off against Wilder for a third time despite the wishes of fight fans who are clamoring for an all-British undisputed fight with Anthony Joshua. Fury announced he was set to fight his compatriot before an arbitrator ruled that he was contractually obligated to give Wilder a rematch.
