Tyson Fury Sends A Message To Anthony Joshua Over Oleksandr Usyk Fight
Tyson Fury has sent a message to Anthony Joshua after reports came out that Joshua may step aside and not take his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.
After Usyk upset Joshua back in September, many assumed the rematch would be next. Both sides confirmed that would be the fight, yet, recently, the talk of Usyk vs. Fury has heated up and Fury is hoping Joshua hurries up and makes a decision.
“I want him to step aside so I can absolutely batter Oleksandr Usyk,” Fury told IFL TV (via Mirror). “But if he does he does and if he doesn’t it doesn’t happen. But one thing I will say is get the f*** on with it, either take the money and f*** off or fight the man either way one or the other. He can talk to my advisor on what is going on with people and step-aside money because I don’t get involved at all. I am not a businessman, I am a f****** spartan and I am only interested in knocking mother******* out. I have heard a certain little person called AJ talk about being a businessman recently but I will fight to the end, that is what spartans say, this is nothing to do with business or whoever I am fighting.”
There is no question Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk would be a big fight and a tough challenge for Fury. Yet, if the fight does happen it would allow Joshua to get a tune-up fight of sorts and then face the winner. However, as Fury says, Joshua still has not made a decision which he hopes will happen soon.
Fury last fought back in October where he knocked out Deontay Wilder in the 11th round to defend his heavyweight title.
Who do you think would win, Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk?
