Tyson Fury Shares Prediction For Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury
Tyson Fury has shared his prediction for the upcoming boxing match between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury.
Paul and Fury are set to fight on February 26 in Saudi Arabia in a highly-anticipated fight for both of their careers. The two have now been booked three times but this time around, it does seem like it will come to fruition and when it does, Tyson expects Tommy to get a stoppage win, but will be later on in the fight.
“I don’t think it’s going to be a one-round, two-second knockout, one-punch type of job. I think he’ll wear him down. [It’s eight rounds], so I think Tommy can wear him out and stop him later on in the last few rounds,” Tyson Fury told IFL TV. “As soon as Tommy hits him with some hard punches, I want to see what Jake Paul’s made of. Because when Tommy hits me with hard punches and big gloves on, it hurts me. I know Jake ain’t as tough as me or as big as me so he’s definitely going to be feeling pain, a lot of it.”
Of course, both Tommy Fury and Jake Paul have made it clear that they will KO the other as both men are confident their 0 will stay.
Jake Paul (6-0) is coming off a decision win over Anderson Silva back in October in the biggest fight of his career. Prior to that, he had back-to-back wins over Tyron Woodley, with the second fight being by KO after the first was a split decision. He also has KO wins over Ben Askren, Nate Robinson, and YouTuber AnEsonGib.
Tommy Fury (8-0) fought in November in an exhibition match in a fight Paul commentated on which added hype to this matchup. In his pro career, he doesn’t have any notable wins of note but did beat Anthony Taylor by decision on the same card Paul edged out a split decision win over Tyron Woodley.
