Jake Paul Knockout Victory Sparks Unimpressed Reaction From KSI
YouTube star Jake Paul scored a brutal, second-round knockout victory over professional basketball player Nate Robinson this weekend.
Featuring on the co-main event slot of the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr exhibition card, Paul took his professional record to 2-0.
Last year Jake’s older brother Logan was defeated by fellow YouTuber and nemesis KSI, in a close decision victory.
Since KSI declined a rematch with Logan, his focus has switched towards Logan’s younger brother Jake.
After Jake’s victory this weekend, KSI tweeted: “I saw nothing special from Jake lol. Soon come.”
Potentially teasing their highly anticipated fight, claiming it will happen soon.
In a bid to avenge his brothers loss, Jake has confirmed on multiple occasions that this fight will happen.
“KSI vs Jake Paul is 100 per cent gonna happen. If I die without that happening, I would be so upset. It has to happen, for the culture,” Jake said.
Back in May, KSI explained he wanted to fight Jake to “finish this whole thing off.”
“I don’t need to [fight], but I want to, I just need to humble him,” KSI said.
As an amateur, Jake defeated KSI’s younger brother Deji, via fifth-round TKO, on the same night KSI faced Logan in the main event.
In his first professional fight in January, Jake defeated KSI’s good friend and fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, adding more fuel on the fire for KSI.
“I’m here to finish this whole YouTube boxing thing for good, Jake is the last person,” KSI said.
“He’s beaten my bro, he’s beaten one of my best mates, it needs to happen,” KSI said.
There are yet to be any official talks of when we might see Jake vs KSI but multiple sources have suggested it could take place in 2021.
Who do you think will win if KSI and Jake Paul finally fight?
