Zab Judah Claims Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield 3 Is Done Deal
It looks like we could be seeing Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield for a third time.
That’s according to former two-weight boxing champion — and close friend of Tyson’s — Zab Judah who claims an exhibition fight between the old rivals is already a done deal.
“The fight is made, the fight is done, Mike Tyson versus Evander Holyfield part three, amazing,” Judah told Metro.co.uk. “Everything about that fight interests me, you just got to look at one and two and there’s no doubt why you wouldn’t want to watch number three, no doubt.
“The fight is signed, sealed and delivered and Mike is training everyday and Evander is training everyday and both men are coming in there to do their job, they are not playing brother, there will be no playing. Mike Tyson versus Evander Holyfield part three, it’s going down, it’s going to be real. It’s going to be a great fight for a third time.”
Tyson, of course, returned to boxing action for the first time since 2005 when he fought Roy Jones Jr. to a draw in their November exhibition match.
After the fight, Tyson spoke of a potential trilogy with Holyfield in the same format with the latter being more than open to it as talks soon began.
And with reports of the fight taking place in the Middle East sometime in November, Judah stated it was going to take place in Dubai.
“It’s going to be in Dubai, that’s what I’m hearing,” Judah added. “That’s what the advertisement said.”
Holyfield notably faced Tyson twice in the nineties as he came out on top on both occasions. The second fight was notable for Tyson biting Holyfield’s ears twice during the contest which resulted in a disqualification loss.
Things have cooled down between the pair since but the competitive fire should return once they step in the ring again.
