Ever since then, many have wondered: what else is next for him? The veteran Terence Crawford has achieved it all and then some inside the squared circle, but he’s the kind of competitor who’s always looking for that next goal. As it turns out, the ‘next goal’ seems to be an absolutely gigantic superfight with none other than Canelo Alvarez.

Every single fight fan under the sun would be interested in seeing what kind of encounter these two would have. Canelo Alvarez is an absolute monster inside the ring, but at the same time, Terence Crawford has done things that are beyond the imagination of most. He has reinvented the game, and he’s been able to defeat every single man he’s been put in there with.

For Canelo, this is the kind of blockbuster collisions that people have been waiting so, so long to see. It’s great to see him compete in a general sense, but this would be a whole new kind of mainstream.

Terence Crawford probably doesn’t need to take a risk like this at this advanced stage of his career. Still, the fact he’s willing to do so is a real testament to his character, and we can’t wait to see how it all plays out.
